Blow-Up (1966)
'66 REVISITEDThomas is a photographer in 1960s London. His life revolves around pop music, fast cars, fashion and models. It sounds exciting, but Thomas actually finds this existence very boring. One day, he is walking through a park and unsuspectingly takes photos of his surroundings. To his horror, after developing the photos, he becomes convinced that he has captured a murder with his camera.
Blow-Up is Antonioni's surgically cool take on the swinging sixties in London, where a generation of post-war twenty-somethings took the helm. Jazz musician Herbie Hancock composed the soundtrack for the film.
