McCabe & Mrs. Miller (1971)

1902, the Old West. The charismatic John McCabe arrives in a small town, where he opens a tavern. The shrewd Mrs. Miller helps McCabe build his business. The two grow closer as McCabe’s tavern becomes increasingly successful. When an industrial tycoon sets his sights on the small town, John refuses to be bought out. This decision has far-reaching consequences, both for him and for Mrs. Miller.
