In the dusty streets of Colobane, people eagerly await the return of Linguère Ramatou, a local woman who is said to have become richer than the World Bank. Her generosity, however, comes with a condition: she offers a cheque for ten billion in exchange for the death of Dramaan Drameh, the man who, thirty years earlier, refused to acknowledge that he was the father of her child. "Life turned me into a prostitute; now I will turn the world into a brothel," she tells the people of Colobane.
